Once every two years, we get together with my extended family which is a huge group. My great uncle has property in Dolores, Colorado and we converge and do all things family! Gus, in standard Gus fashion got stung by a swarm of wasps. Other than that, it was a wonderful trip!
Sycamore Creek
We hit up Sycamore creek during spring break, it was an impulse trip and we had an great time. On the way to the creek Gus asked if he could get dirty, I told him yes... he took that promise to heart and walked straight into the water when we got there. He was in Heaven and he talks about going back all the time. Just some girlfriends out with their kids, oh wait and Billy, the token dude who came along. We were glad he was with us, because of course Jill got stuck and he drove it out of the sand like no big thing. Marlo also threw down the most amazing dutch oven dinner, it was the best!

Family Sleepover
When I say sleepover I use that phrase loosely. We had all my sisters
and all the kids sleep at our house, it was good times. Nail painting,
dance party (including a sweet conga line), games with Grandma, toilet
papering, Muppet movie, late night chocolate frosty, and then we topped
it all of the next day with a trip to the zoo. I have the best family
ever, they are awesome.

Photo Class
I took photography classes in high school and college, but both of those classes were film and I knew I needed to step up my knowledge so I could really use my new digital camera. Don't get me wrong, nothing will replace my love for the darkroom, it really is magical... but I wanted to be able to capture with the new convenience of the digital era. I took a class online, and really enjoyed it. Wendy Schulz is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to learn at any level.
