Polar Express
Advent calendar success. Left the golden ticket under Gus' pillow and then we shipped off to a polar express adventure!

The holiday season brought out Gus' desire to learn how to ride his bike. He took to it like a duck to water!

The End of a Legend
What happens when your husband gets called as the Elders Quorum president right before Halloween? Your whole costume idea has to be abandoned because the beard has got to go. I was so sad to see that gem go, I love my burly bearded husband!

State Fair
Grandpa Bowles wins the award for best Grandpa outings! He called up and treated us to a day at the Arizona State Fair. Thanks for being so great Grandpa, you're the best!

Tovrea Castle
Any time you go to the airport you see it. Any time you participate in a Bowles family Arizona trivia night it's guaranteed to be a question. Any time your old man gives you tickets to see one of the most iconic landmarks in Arizona you go! Tovrea (pronounced Tove-ree) Castle was really a cool place to visit. It's loaded with Arizona history and some truly bizarre architecture. Our favorite was the ceiling stucco in the basement that looks like a nice stiff meringue.
