Awesome / Not Awesome
Awesome
-Being able to finally mash some gum on my tongue in Sacrament meeting.
Not Awesome
-James kindly telling me in Sunday school that I really need to brush my teeth (umm, I did and I'm sucking on gum) because my breath was a 7 or 8 on a scale of 1-10. (sorry to anyone I breathed on at church)
Awesome
-Taking meds to help with the pain and discomfort. (I appreciated the medication, but felt a little hesitant about taking it after a meeting about addiction. Medicine freaks me out.)
Not Awesome
-Being questioned by several people if I was "okay." (apparently I am more affected by the meds than I thought)
Awesome
-Got dressed for an early morning meeting in the dark.
Not Awesome
-James telling me at 5:00 pm; after three meetings, church and my conducting in Relief Society, that I have my dress on inside out! (In my defense it didn't look that strange)
I knew getting my teeth out would be an adventure, I just had no idea it would be this funny.
*the images are for those of you who may have forgotten what I look like on a normal basis. Yes, I can typically smile without a grimace, and no my cheeks don't always look this puffy.

WIS to the DOM
I can't wait to read this tomorrow and see if it makes any sense.

Mistaken Identity
I LOVE watching movies at home with James, let me tell you why. James has a great memory for things, but actors faces are not his strong suit. Every time we watch a movie he will pick out a character from the movie and claim they are on some other show or movie and 99.9% of the time he's wrong and wrong by a long shot.
EXAMPLE:We watched a movie the other night featuring a dude, after the movie was over James mentioned his work on 30 Rock and Arrested Development. He insisted he was right and we checked imdb to clear his claim. Here are the two men he confused. This is why I love watching movies with James.

Oh snap!
I was just told today that I have to give a lesson in Relief Society in three weeks. What?!! So I had a lesson all prepared for July, but ended up going out of town. I took three months to study and research this lesson and then gave my insight to the sister who took over for me. Snap, now I have no lesson and three weeks to put together what I usually work for three months on.
I need a lesson idea. Have any of you had a really good lesson that you want to share some insight from? Help me please.
*Update!! I actually don't have to teach. I get another 3 months to prepare my next lesson, thank goodness. Keep the good ideas coming though, I will need all the help I can get.

The 4th of July
HIGHLIGHTS:
-New flooring, paint, couches and curtains in the cabin. A new fresh place to stay, Hooray!!
-Cooler weather
-Taking cheesy pregnant pictures of Debbie (I hate cheesy pregnant pictures, they make me want to throw up.)
-Gus getting dirty and having fun.
-Seeing all the Carpenter family.
-Fireworks (the best fireworks in Arizona, I'm sure of it)
-Small town parade, complete with trampy cheerleaders in patriotic bikinis. Oh yeah, and they gave out Otter Pops.
-Eating crap all weekend.

What's the draw to Wicked?
Now I finally get it. I had to find out why everyone loved this play so much, so I went to see it. It is awesome, and far better than what I expected. It was kind of like the Twilight books, people will tell you how awesome they are but until you check it out yourself you don't really understand it.
